In the fourth quarter of 2024, the Maps and Navigation category on the Android platform in Latin America showcased notable trends across several popular applications, with data insights provided by Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at approximately 619K in mid-December. Active users saw a significant rise from 34.3M at the start of October, peaking at 38M in mid-December, before a drop to 31M by the end of the quarter.

inDrive. Rides with fair fares demonstrated a steady increase in downloads, reaching a high of 413K in late December. Active users increased from 12.7M at the beginning of the quarter to 14.8M in early December, before declining to 12.1M by year-end.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic showed consistent growth in weekly downloads, culminating at 457K in late December. The app's active user base expanded from 30.6M to 33.1M during the same period.
